CTSAMVM to host workshop for the Warring Parties in Khartoum, 24-25 September, 2018.

21 September, 2018, Khartoum, The Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring and Verification Mechanism (CTSAMVM) will convene the Warring Parties for a Permanent Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements (PCTSA) workshop in accordance with Article 2.1.11 of Chapter II of the Revitalised Agreement on the Resolution of Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS).

As per the agreement the workshop will define further modalities for operationalising the permanent ceasefire framework and Parties are expected to inform CTSAMVM about their plans for implementing the ceasefire as per the implementation matrix in the R-ARCSS.

CTSAMVM will post further updates as the workshop takes place.
