CTSAMVM marks International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict

19 June marked the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, honouring the UN Security Council’s adoption of Resolution 1820 condemning sexual violence as a tactic of war in 2008. CTSAMVM joined the global campaign in solidarity with Survivors of Sexual Violence in Conflict: Women and Children. The campaign is popularised by the sign of the Crossed Hands, and honours women survivors who bravely speak out about their experiences of sexual abuse during conflict.
