CTSAMVM host Board Meeting in Khartoum, “We must work together to silence the guns in the country”

27, September, 2018, Khartoum, today the CTSAMVM hosted a Board Meeting in Khartoum. The meeting was the first of its kind since the signing of the Revitalised Peace Agreement and new board members, including the South Sudan Womens Coalitions and youth representatives were welcomed by the CTSAMVM Deputy Chairman, Major General, Tariq Abdelkarim.

The new youth representative spoke about the importance of including youth in the peace process, he highlighted that fact that 72% of the population in South Sudan are under the age of 35 and therefore participation of the youth is crucial for the peace process.

The CTSAMVM Deputy, Major General Tariq Abdelkarim, welcomed the Board members and encouraged them to work with the CTSAMVM to silence the guns in the country.
