The Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) welcomes the signing of the Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities, Protection of Civilians and Humanitarian Access by the Parties attending the High Level Revitalization Forum in Addis Ababa on 21st December 2017. The CTSAMM stands ready to engage the Parties in light of expansion of the CTSAMM mandate as stipulated by the Agreement.

The CTSAMM is also deeply concerned about the recent allegations of breaches to the Cessation of Hostilities (CoH) Agreement in Unity State, Central Equatoria and Western Equatoria, and has launched investigations in the affected areas.
