CTSAMM hosts Donor Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.


5th April, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, CTSAMM held its second Donor Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The one day event was intended to update donors on the activities of CTSAMM and also to plan for the future requirements of the mission. CTSAMM is generously supported through financial and in-kind contributions from China, Norway, US, UK, Japan, EU, Denmark and Germany. The IGAD Special Envoy for South Sudan, Ismail Wais, as well as the UK Special Envoy for South Sudan, Chris Trott were also in attendance. The CTSAMM Chairman, Major General Ibrahim Abduljelill, opened the conference by thanking the donors for their continued support to CTSAMM. The donor representatives expressed their sincere gratitude to CTSAMM for the difficult role they have to play in monitoring the ceasefire and assured CTSAMM of their continued support to the mission and the South Sudan peace process.
