CTSAMM conducts training on Gender Sensitivity

On 14th August the Juba Monitoring and Verification Team concluded a two day training on Gender Sensitivity. The training was organized to enable the MTVs to monitor, verify and report on the compliance of the Permaenet Ceasefire agreement with major focus on gender, including reporting on violations against women and children as per article 1.7 of the Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan. All monitors greatly appreciated the training and commented that it would enable them to better report on the impact of the conflict and also enable them devise better recommendations to the warring parties on how to mitigate gender related conflict.
