CTSAMM Condemns Recent Hostilities and Acts of Violence

The CTSAMM is closely following reports of recent hostilities taking place in different areas of the country including Duk County and Leer Town. The CTSAMM has subsequently launched investigations in these areas. CTSAMM would like to remind the Warring Parties of their obligation to cease all hostilities and protect civilians as is stipulated in the Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (ARCSS).   The CTSAMM would also like to reiterate that it works in an impartial, professional and thorough manner to investigate alleged breaches of the Permanent Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements (PCTSA) on the basis of credible information and complaints submitted by the Parties and others. CTSAMM is working for the betterment of the people of South Sudan, in support of the peace process, and in accordance with agreements, national laws & international law.
