CTSAMM Completes Workshop on the Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities (ACOH) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

On 25 January the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) closed a workshop comprising of all the warring parties to orient them on the work of CTSAMM, and to engage the parties regarding their obligations to declare their forces to enable effective monitoring of the recently signed Agreement on the Cessation of Hostilities (ACOH) signed in Addis Ababa in December 2017.

All Parties participated in a very cooperative manner and expressed appreciation to CTSAMM for convening the forum and for enlightening them on the way in which CTSAMM operates.


In his closing remarks the CTSAMM Chairman, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Abduljelill said “the task ahead of us will not be easy but with a genuine willingness from the Parties, I believe we can achieve our joint pursuit of peace.”
