CTSAMM MVT denied freedom of movement to the Lasu area, in Yei 0

  As part of the CTSAMMs ongoing mission to monitor the permanent ceasefire and transitional security arrangements, the CTSAMM is currently undertaking a two week mission to the Yei area. CTSAMM conducts training on Gender Sensitivity 0

On 14th August the Juba Monitoring and Verification Team concluded a two day training on Gender Sensitivity. The training was organized to enable the MTVs to monitor, verify and report on the compliance of the Permaenet Ceasefire agreement with major focus on gender, including reporting on violations against women and children as per article 1.7 of the Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan. From 24 – 26 July, 2017, a CTSAMM Monitoring and Verification Team travelled to Wonduruba Payam in Central Equatoria to assess the security situation and compliance to the Permanent Ceasefire.
